I am a HUB vendor. How do I sign up to do business with the City of Garland?
You need to receive your certification from the State of Texas, your resident state or North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (www.nctrca.org). When you join Bidsync, enter your certification information in the designated field. When buyers pull the bid list, they will see the HUB designation. Certification is not required to respond to City of Garland competitive opportunities.

By joining BidSync. BidSync is free to the City of Garland vendor and will contain Bid Notification, Bid Documents, Plans/Drawings/Specifications, Electronic Bid Responses, and Tabulations. To become active, choose the commodity codes that apply to your business. You will be notified of bids when they are posted, either by fax or email. Be sure to keep your contact information in BidSync (www.bidsync.com) current.

The City will notify the successful bidder upon award of the contract.

Does the Purchasing Department conduct auctions for City salvage and surplus items?
Yes. An Impounded Vehicle Auction is conducted the third Friday of each month. A General Auction is held annually. See the attached link at www.garlandpurchasing.com.
