The City of Garland will broadcast a Town Meeting for residents on Tuesday, April 29, 2008.  The program, hosted by District 2 Council Member Laura Perkins Cox and District 5 Council Member Jackie Feagin, will be aired live on cable CGTV at 7 p.m. 
 
A call-in format allows residents from Districts 2 and 5 to ask their City Council representatives questions about their neighborhoods.  Each Council Representative will give a “state of the district” message, then citizens can call 972-205-9035 with their questions and comments.  
 
CGTV is available on Time Warner Cable channel 16 and on Verizon FIOS TV channel 44. Citizens without cable access may attend the meetings in person.  Questions will be taken from the audience after the live broadcast.  The meetings are held in the Garland City Council chambers at Garland City Hall, First Floor, 200 North Fifth Street.
