Garland, Texas – July 7, 2008 -- In conjunction with the Texas Department of Agriculture, the City of Garland is sponsoring the 2008 Summer Nutrition Program through August 15.  All children 18 years and younger are invited to enjoy lunch, snacks, and activities at select parks, recreation centers, community churches and apartments.  No fee or registration is required.  Lunch will be served between 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and snacks between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  For specific meal times and other information, please contact the Summer Nutrition Program office at 972-205-3335.
