The City's administrative departments manage the budget and other financial processes, the City's vehicle fleet, purchasing and warehousing, human resources, risk management, public information, special events and more.  Very often these departments operate in the background and aren't as visible to the public as parks or waste collection, for example.  But their function is every bit as vital to the City's successful operation.
