The City Secretary Department's mission is to facilitate, support and enhance the efforts of the City Council to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of office and the ability of the general public to acquire and access public records and information.

Board application for Council appointed advisory boards or commissions. Those interested in applying to serve on the Utility Advisory Board should submit a UAB Application Form.

Solicitors
Solicitor permits for door to door home solicitation and individual/group home flyer distribution will no longer be issued by the City Secretary's Office.
Permits will now be issued by the Garland Police Department at 1891 Forest Lane 972-205-1658.
